As most of you know, I’ve now served nearly two years as Interim Executive Director of The Fellowship in a volunteer basis. In 2023, I retired from my church job after 47 years serving as Director of Music and Worship Ministries, a ministry I truly loved. So, I am fortunate to now have the time to help guide The Fellowship we love into a strong, God-filled future. We have a wonderful leadership team in place - all are working diligently to keep The Fellowship vital, relevant, and financially stable so that we can continue to support, inspire, encourage, and provide worship inspiration and resources to present and future worship artists.

I’m currently reading a book entitled Theo of Golden. It’s a wonderful story of an older gentleman who moves to a new town and discovers a means of helping others find the beauty within themselves and in their life stories. I won’t spoil the storyline for those who haven’t yet read this touching and inspiring novel. But I have been musing on what we all can do to pass along the vision and gifts of encouragement and inspiration to our current and future generations. As I began my music and worship ministry, I was lovingly guided, mentored, and encouraged by Fellowship leaders. I can honestly say that the Fellowship was the single most-important reason I continued and grew the ministry to which I was called. Can you help us continue The Fellowship mission for our current and next generation of worship leaders?
Transforming the World Through Worship
The Fellowship of Worship Artists exists to assist worship leaders in creating transformative worship experiences which bring people into deeper relationships with God and each other. We offer tools and resources for each worship arts area including choral, dance, art, drama, visual design, preaching, handbells, instrumentals, technical / audio visual, spiritual direction, and liturgy creation. We are called to this work together, and we cannot do it without you.
Whether you’re in the beginning, middle, or end of your career, I sincerely ask you to consider joining this organization in our mission. If you’ve let your membership expire, please renew. We've made the process even easier with recurring payments and reminders. Buy a church membership for the church you currently serve or worship with. Make a gift to our Annual Fund. Reach out to current friends in music and worship ministry and encourage them to find out more about The Fellowship and what we are, what we do, and what we offer. Visit our newly-refreshed website to find out how you can help us remember those who influenced you in your ministry and pay this gift forward. Please call, text, or email me if you have any questions or would like to talk! May God bless you in this new year of celebrating and answering God’s call upon your lives.
With love and gratitude,
Tom Taylor
